https://store.steampowered.com/app/70/HalfLife/
The game celebrates its 25th anniversary by updating the Steam version with new (restored) content (Half-Life: Uplink, new multiplayer models and maps, old Valve intro), optimizations for widescreen, and brings the main menu back to the original 1998 version.
Secret Tape made a documentary about the development of the game with the original developers reunited, which I'd recommend you to watch: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TbZ3HzvFEto
(Counter-Strike 1.6 and Condition Zero (except Deleted Scenes) has "assertion" errors when Half-Life is updated. For 1,6 you can select the beta version which still works.)
Update: Also forgot to mention that Half-Life: Source is unlisted, and to get it you need to buy Valve Complete Pack. At least Valve knew it sucked lol.
(11/30/2023) Update: Counter Strike 1.6, Condition Zero (and Deleted Scenes) got fixed by Valve to support the 25th Anniversary Edition update.

End of an era after 11 years... I have mixed feelings about this (since some Garry's Mod maps needs CS:GO assets π), although I was able to capture some gameplay moments weeks ago, but I regret not playing it in the final day. I will try CS2 later when I have time, looking at the maps and graphics it looks more promising than CS;GO's bland-ish colors.

There's a bit of freezing during gameplay since I think there's some cache loading thingy, in Task Manager its using around 1.8GB to 2GB of RAM (8gb max), 36% to 45% of CPU and 90% of my GPU.
This was just newly released and out of beta, but I wish they delayed it a bit so they could optimize the game. I'll have to wait for updates to see if it improves the situation.
I'm back playing Transformice after 5 years of not touching my account. I'm still noob though.

Today would've been Yukihiro Takahashi's 71st birthday. Thank you for being an influence in my music taste, and also being part of YMO!
Here's his rendition of "C'est Si Bon" in reggae(-like) style:

That the iTunes' "Classic Visualizer" is a licensed version of SoundSpectrum's G-Force?

The first time I was on Newgrounds, was when I heard some music there. And I saw that Pokemon short, and I played Pico's school.
At that time, rating icons was different for Movies & Games (Pico). Audio (Darnell), and Art (Nene), although now it's just Steve.
Also, here's some art of the naughty boys (which is an album art remake of my favorite band):
Happy Pico Day!

Ryuichi Sakamoto, 71, passed away from stage 4 cancer in March 28, 2023.
His death was announced on April 2, 2023.
He first debuted with "A Thousand Knives Of..." in 1978 which was released through Better Days label. In the same year, he formed the Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) with Yukihiro Takahashi and Haruomi Hosono.
He then released another album in 1980 named "B-2 Unit", released through Alfa, which features "Riot in Lagos" a song that will influence electro and hip-hop in the future.
He had a radio show in NHK named "Sound Street" in 1981, which showcases demos of himself, YMO, and others who submitted their cassette tapes.
When YMO disbanded in 1983, at the same year he would compose and star in the movie "Merry Christmas Mr. Lawrence" (Also known as "Furyo"), and then he would release "Ongaku Zukan" in 1984 through Midi label (Midi Inc.), which features "Tibetan Dance".
In 1989, he would release his album "Beauty", which was released under the US Virgin label and features the single, "You Do Me".
In 1993, he reunited with Hosono and Takahashi as ~~YMO~~ (Billed alternately as "Not YMO") for "Technodon" and performed in Tokyo Dome.
He would release several albums on For Life label such as "Sweet Revenge" (1994), "Smoochy" (1995), and "1996" (1996).
Then he would be on Warner Music with "BTTB" (1998), "Comica", "Elephantism" (both 2002), and "Chasm" (2004).
When Haroumi Hosono and Yukihiro Takahashi formed Sketch Show, Sakamoto didn't want to see them only play together, and so they would reunite as HASYMO (HAS as in Human Audio Sponge). It was only in 2008 the rights to the name "Yellow Magic Orchestra" was given back to them and performed for "World Happiness Day" and "NO NUKES" until 2012.
He would then start his label Commmons, which released "Out of Noise" (2009) and "Three" (2012).
Then he released "Plankton" (2016), "async" (2017), and his final album, "12" (2023).
He composed for films such as "The Last Emperor" (1987), the original version of "εη«η©θͺ" (A Kitten's Story, but known in other versions as "The Adventures of Milo and Otis") (1986), "Shining Boy & Little Randy" (2005), and more.
His last public words was to stop the Jingu redevelopment plan, since it would impact the nearby Jingu Gaien Ginkgo Avenue, and lamented that he could only write letters since his energy was down to the point where he can't make music.
Arigato, Sakamoto-san. See you in the eastern wind...

I was focused on this minigame, that when I realized I just had a perfect score, I remembered this was the dialogue:
Sam: "I got a perfect score!"
Max: "You should really get a life, Sam."
The only regret is that I haven't recorded this moment, so you have to take my word for it.
But someone did reach that score a year ago so there's some proof I wasn't making up stuff: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zrIZmBHoVzw
