Here's 2 of my favorite songs to celebrate this day:
Kurt Weill - Speak Low (Demo)
From "Tryout (a Series of Private Rehearsal Recordings)" (1953)
Composed by Kurt Weill with lyrics written by Ogden Nash
Introduced in the musical "One Touch of Venus" (1943) by Mary Martin and Kenny Baker, this jazz standard has been covered by artists such as Billie Holiday, The Four Freshmen, the Miracles, Barbara Streisand and many more. [1]
This demo recording was made to help bring attention and convince them to finance "One Touch of Venus", it would not be until 1953 that the recording became public. [2]

Talking Heads - The Book I Read
From "Talking Heads: 77" (1977)
Written by David Byrne
This one's more light-hearted than "Speak Low", it's about someone you love you found out also they wrote the book you read!
Although not popular as "Psycho Killer" from the same album, David Byrne's vocal delivery is something you need to listen in this song.
